Jerry Lloyd
Jerome Hurwitz "Jerry" Lloyd (born July 16, 1920 in New York City ) was an American jazz trumpeter and pianist.
Lloyd played with Georgie Auld , Buddy Rich and George Wallington . From 1950 he worked as a taxi driver and played on the side again in 1956 with George Wallington and Zoot Sims .
He has recorded with Wallington and Zoot Sims, Gerry Mulligan , and Jutta Hipp . Tom Lord recorded three recording sessions from 1949 to 1954.
