Interior of the Church of Jerup

The church, built from 1888 to 1889 from red bricks in neo-Romanesque style, can hold a maximum of 150 worshipers. Although the church has a ridge turret , the church bell is in a stack of bells at the edge of the surrounding cemetery , as the roof structure was no longer stable enough for the bells.

The interior of the church is white and plain. The furniture is held in light gray tones. The font is carved from a piece of limestone.
