Jesús Alberto Dueñas Manzo (born March 16, 1989 in Zamora de Hidalgo , Michoacán ) is a Mexican football player who acts in defense or in defensive midfield .

career

Dueñas began his career in the junior division of the UANL Tigres , where he also received his first professional contract . Dueñas made his first professional appearances in the 2007/08 season on loan from the second division team Petroleros de Salamanca . Since the 2009/10 season, Dueñas has been part of the Tigres first team, with which he won the Mexican soccer championship in both Apertura 2011 and Apertura 2015 and the Mexican soccer cup competition in Clausura 2014 .

Dueñas has also been part of the Mexican national team since 2015 and was part of the Mexican squad at the 2016 Copa America .
