Jesper Larsson (born July 27, 1973 in Kristianstad , Sweden ) is a former Swedish handball goalkeeper . He played in the Bundesliga at HSG Nordhorn , where he wore jersey number 16. The 1.90 m long and 90 kg heavy Larsson played 19 international matches for Sweden . Despite his contract with HSG Nordhorn, which ran until the end of the 2007/2008 season, Larsson returned to Sweden in the summer of 2007 for family reasons. There he played with H 43 Lund between 2007 and 2009 .

He then moved to league rivals IFK Kristianstad . For the start of the season, Larsson was loaned to the Bundesliga club TBV Lemgo , who had to do without the suspended Martin Galia . On September 18, 2009, he played his last game for Lemgo. He then played again for IFK Kristianstad, where he ended his career in 2012.

Larsson took over the goalkeeping coaching position at IFK Kristianstad in 2013. From the 2014/15 season he worked there as an assistant coach. In March 2016 he also took over the position of sporting director . After the 2016/17 season, Larsson gave up his assistant coaching position to concentrate on the position of sporting director.
