Jessica Campbell

Jessica Campbell (born October 30, 1982 in Tulsa , Oklahoma ) is an American actress .

Campbell grew up in St. Louis . In the comedy Election ( 1999 ) she played alongside Matthew Broderick and Reese Witherspoon the role of the lesbian student Tammy Metzler . For this role she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award and the YoungStar Award . In the award-winning film The Safety of Objects ( 2001 ) she played one of the larger roles alongside Glenn Close and Dermot Mulroney . She played one of the leading roles in the award-winning independent film Dad's Day ( 2002 ), similar to the film Junk (2002), which she also co-produced. She then went on to study anthropology in California .
