Jessica De Gouw , even Jess De Gouw (*, 15. February 1988 in Perth , Western Australia as Jessica Elise De Gouw ) is an Australian actress .

Life

Jessica De Gouw was born in Perth , Western Australia in February 1988 and grew up in Lesmurdie, an eastern suburb of Perth. She attended Lesmurdie Senior High School . In 2010 she graduated from Curtin University in Performance Studies .

She made her acting debut in 2006 in an episode of The Sleepover Club . She then made three short films before starring in Underbelly: Razor for a three-episode story arc in 2011 . In the same year she made a guest appearance on Crownies . The following year De Gouw had roles in the television series Tricky Business and in the television movie Kath & Kimderella . In the novel adaptation The Mystery of a Hansom Cab by Fergus Hume, she played the role of Madge in 2012 .

She became known in 2012 for the role of Helena Bertinelli in The CW television series Arrow . So far, she has appeared in four episodes of the series. For the horror series Dracula , co-produced by NBC and BBC , she played the role of Mina Murray from 2013 to 2014 , while Jonathan Rhys Meyers was seen as Count Dracula and Oliver Jackson-Cohen as her fiancé Jonathan Harker .
