Jessica McIntyre (* 1976 in Kano , Nigeria ) is an actress of British - French origin who lives in Germany .

life and career

Jessica McIntyre was born in 1976 in Nigeria to an Englishman and a Frenchwoman. In 1979 her parents moved to Germany. At the age of eleven, she worked at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg in the play Lulu, staged by director Peter Zadek . She later took private acting, singing and flamenco lessons. She lived in Seville, Spain from 1998 to 2002 and then moved back to Hamburg. From 2002 to 2006 she recorded various albums as a singer and lyricist with the Hamburg Sam Ragga Band . In 2006 she separated from the band in order to form the new wave / electronic band "Poppy" with Marc Wilkes, the guitarist of Sam Ragga Band. In 2007 she joined the MINK electrical project founded by David Cohen. In 2008 the EP "Simple" by the electro-pop duo was released. Since 2002 she has appeared in films and television productions.

Jessica McIntyre is of British nationality, but speaks German as her mother tongue. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Jessica McIntyre lives in Hamburg.
