Yevgeny Olegovich Boljakin ( Russian Евгений Олегович Болякин * 20th April 1990 in Karaganda , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh hockey player who since 2010 when Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Supreme Hockey League is under contract. His father Oleg was also a professional ice hockey player and is now a coach.

Career

Yevgeny Boljakin began his career as an ice hockey player in the junior division of Kasachmys Karaganda . For the second team he played from 2003 to 2007 mainly in the Pervaya League , the third Russian division. He also came to 20 appearances in the Kazakh ice hockey championship in the 2004/05 season . After the team moved to Sätbajew following the 2005/06 season, the defender stayed with the club for one season as a third division player. The 2007/08 season spent the junior international for the HK Irtysh Pavlodar in parallel in the Pervaya League and the Kazakh championship.

In the summer of 2008, Boljakin received a contract with Amur Khabarovsk from the newly founded Continental Hockey League . There he could not prevail in his first year, so that he only came to nine missions in the KHL. Therefore, the Kazakh was given to HK Sary-Arka Karaganda from his home country, for whom he was on the ice in the second Russian division, the Wysschaja Liga . For the 2009/10 season , the left shooter signed with the KHL club HK Spartak Moscow , for which, however, he only played 13 games in the KHL. Since the 2010/11 season he has been playing for Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the new Russian second division, the Wysschaja Hockey League .

International

For Kazakhstan , Boljakin took part in the U18 Junior B World Championships in 2007 and 2008 , as well as the U20 Junior World Championships in 2008 and 2009 .
