Yevgeny Stepanovich Kobylinsky
Yevgeny Stepanovich Kobylinski ( Russian Евгений Степанович Кобылинский ; born September 29 . Jul / 11. October 1875 greg. In Kiev , Russian Empire ; † 1927 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) was a Russian officer .
Kobylinski was a colonel in the Life Guard of the Petrograd Regiment . He participated in the war , was wounded and dismissed from the army as a disabled man . In 1917 he was appointed in command of the castles in Tsarskoye Selo by the Provisional Government . In this function he accompanied the family of Tsar Nicholas II, who was overthrown in the course of the February Revolution , to Tobolsk .
In 1927 Kobylinski was arrested for participating in an anti-Soviet conspiracy, sentenced to death and shot in Moscow's Butyrka prison in December of the same year .
