Jiřina Ptáčníková (born May 20, 1986 in Plzeň ) is a Czech pole vaulter .

life and career

Ptáčníková starts for PSK Olymp Prague . With a height of 1.74 m, she has a competition weight of 62 kg.

At the European Championships in 2006 Ptáčníková could not qualify as 27th in the qualification for the final. At the Summer Universiade 2009 she was first and at the World Championships she took 16th place. In 2010 she was fifth at the World Indoor Championships and the European Championships . This was followed in 2011 by a fourth place at the European Indoor Championships and a seventh place at the World Championships . In the 2012 indoor season she increased to 4.70 m in Donetsk , at the World Indoor Championships she crossed 4.55 m and reached sixth place. At the European Championships in Helsinki in 2012 , she won the title with 4.60 m in a final accompanied by heavy rain. In London she came in sixth at the Olympics .

In 2009, 2010 and 2011 Ptáčníková she was Czech champion. On June 11, 2012, she set her personal best with 4.72 m in Prague .

In 2012 Ptáčníková married hurdler Petr Svoboda , from whom she divorced in 2014.
