Jiak Kim Bridge

The Jiak Kim Bridge , completed in 1999, is a pedestrian bridge that spans the Singapore River in Singapore in the Singapore River planning area in the Central Region . The bridge connects Jiak Kim Street with the opposite bank of the Singapore River in the northeast. It hangs from the cables of a large arch that is anchored on both sides of the bridge.

The bridge is named after Tan Jiak Kim, a city commissioner and member of the Legislative Council and grandson of Tan Kim Seng , the builder of the Kim Seng Bridge . The steel bridge has a span of 40.6 m.
