Jieshou

Jieshou ( Chinese 界首市 , Pinyin Jièshǒu Shì ) is an independent city in the northwest of the Chinese province of Anhui . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Fuyang . Jieshou has an area of 667 km² and about 760,000 inhabitants (end of 2007).

Administrative structure

At the community level, Jieshou consists of three street districts , twelve large communities and three communities . These are:

Dongcheng Street (东城街道), seat of the city government;

Xicheng Street (西城街道);

Yingnan Street District (颍南街道);

Greater community Dahuang (大黄镇);

Greater community Daiqiao (代桥镇);

Greater community Guangwu (光武镇);

Greater community Guji (顾集镇);

Lucun municipality (芦村镇);

Greater community Quanyang (泉阳镇);

Greater community Shuzhuang (舒庄镇);

Greater community Taomiao (陶庙镇);

Greater community Tianying (田营镇);

Greater community Wangji (王集镇);

Greater community Xinmaji (新马集镇);

Greater community Zhuanji (砖集镇);

Community Bingji (邴集乡);

Community Jinzhai (靳寨乡);

Renzhai municipality (任寨乡).

economy

Jieshou, together with the nearby cities of Taihe and Fuyang, forms a center of the Chinese lead industry . Around half of China's lead production comes from the area of these three cities.
