Location of Fuyang in Anhui

Fuyang ( Chinese  阜阳 市 , Pinyin Fǔyáng Shì ) is a district-free city in the Chinese province of Anhui . It has an area of ​​9,979 km² and approx. 8 million inhabitants (2016). 780,522 people live in the actual urban settlement area of ​​Fuyang (2010 census). Fuyang is located in the northwest of Anhui.
