Jimmy Jean-Louis (born August 8, 1968 in Pétionville , Haiti ) is a Haitian actor and model .

Life

Jimmy Jean-Louis grew up in a small village near Port-au-Prince before immigrating to Paris with his family at the age of 12 . He studied economics and dance. While his parents returned to Haiti, he stayed in France with his brother. In 1991 he was discovered dancing in a Parisian nightclub and hired for a Coca-Cola commercial. As a result, he started an international modeling career, where he worked for Gianfranco Ferré and Valentino , among others . Since Jean-Louis speaks five languages ​​(English, Spanish, French, Italian and Creole), he was able to take part in musical theater in Spain before living in Italy for a while. He gained experience through French adult television films, including Emmanuelle in Tibet in 1993 , before moving to Los Angeles , where he starred in several independent films, before receiving a role in Jean-Claude Van Dammes Derailed . From there he was hired for other smaller roles in films such as The Bourne Identity , Hollywood Cops , Tears of the Sun and The Monster- in-Law.
