João Ricardo Pereira Queirós , João Queirós for short , (born April 22, 1998 in Viana do Castelo ) is a Portuguese football player . The central defender plays for Willem II Tilburg and the U21 national team .
Career
societies
Queirós played a. a. for the youth teams of Benfica Lisbon and FC Porto . In July 2014 he moved to the Sporting Braga junior performance center . For his second team, he played once in the Segunda League in a 1-1 draw against Sporting Lisbon B on May 21, 2017 . For the 2017/18 season Queirós moved to Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln , with whom he signed a five-year contract. Queirós was loaned back to Portugal to the B-team of Sporting Lisbon after a season in which he did not play a competitive game for the professionals of the Domstadt team . The season 2019/20 plays Queirós at Willem II Tilburg .
National team
Queirós played five games for the Portuguese U18 national team . In July 2017 he took part in the U19 European Championship in Georgia with the U19 team. He was used in four games of his team, which lost the final 2-1 to England .
