Joachim Brinkmann (politician)

Joachim Brinkmann (born July 25, 1934 in Stettin ) is a German CDU politician and former member of the Hamburg parliament .

Life

Joachim Brinkmann finished his school days (1940–1954) in Lübeck with the Abitur. Between 1954 and 1963 he studied law and economics in Kiel and Berlin . After the two state law exams , he finished his studies with a degree in business administration. The doctorate to Dr. rer. pole. He sat on the board of the mineral oil company Marquard & Bahls .

He is married and has two children. He is a member of the Corps Holsatia (1955) and the Corps Guestphalia Berlin (1965).

politics

Joachim Brinkmann was a member of the CDU's Economic Council from 1990 onwards and has been Deputy State Chairman since 1995. He did not join the CDU until 1996.

He was a member of the Hamburg parliament in the 16th electoral term from 1997 to 2001. For his parliamentary group he sat on the budget committee and the economic committee.
