Joachim Hammann
Joachim Hammann (* 1946 in Düsseldorf ) is a German writer , film scholar and screenwriter . He writes novels, short stories, detective novels and non-fiction books.
biography
Joachim Hammann went to school in the Comenius-Gymnasium in Düsseldorf- Oberkassel and in the institute on the Rosenberg in St. Gallen (Switzerland). In his teenage years he wrote several articles, poems and short stories for the school newspaper Cecinius , the literary role models at that time were Arno Schmidt and John Lennon. He wanted to become a drummer and played with the musicians Michael Karoli , Marius Müller-Westernhagen , Florian Schneider-Esleben , Bodo Staiger and Holger Clausen.
He studied political science , philosophy and psychology in Berlin and Munich and did his doctorate at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institut of the University of Munich under Theo Stammen with an examination of a certain figure of thought in political theory which he calls "allotopia".
After graduating, he worked for the authors' film publishing house and was head of its world sales for four years. From 1982 he worked as a freelance screenwriter and also as a dramaturge , script doctor and screenwriter at Beta-Taurus Film ( Kirch Group ). He also produced the 1984 movie Jagger and Spaghetti .
In 2006 Hamman's film studies book Die Heldenreise im Film (2006) was published, which is based on his preoccupation with mythology , CG Jung's thinking and film dramaturgy. In 2006 his debut novel The Harmony of the World , a crime story, was published. Since then he has published a number of other novels and short stories.
