Joachim Levy

Joachim Levy (* 1976 in Geneva ) is a Swiss film director , screenwriter and photographer .

Life

Joachim Levy studied at the New York Film Academy, Brooklyn College and the University of California, Los Angeles and then began his film career in 1999, initially as a production assistant under Gill Holland at Cineblast Productions in New York.

From 2001 to 2007 he worked with Thierry Guetta on Life Remote Control , the Oscar-nominated documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop about the street artist Banksy .

In 2007 Levy worked as Vice President of the production company Six Point Films with two-time Oscar winner Branko Lustig . He also worked as a film director and screenwriter with producer and Emmy Award winner Steve Natt on the documentary Buell The Documentary in Los Angeles .

In 2012 he developed the series The Bank , a comedy-drama series about football and glamor, which u. a. is occupied by Paz Vega , Rasha Bukvic, Gary Dourdan , Philippe Reinhardt .
