Joachim Moras
Joachim Moras (born December 9, 1902 in Zittau (Saxony), † March 25, 1961 in Munich ) was a German Romance scholar , journalist and translator .
From 1933 until its setting 1944 he published the journal European Revue out, he founded in 1947 with Hans Paeschke the Mercury . Journal for European Thinking , which he published together with Paeschke until 1961. He also edited the anthology Jahresring des Kulturkreis der Deutschen Wirtschaft . Moras translated works by André Gide , among others .
Part of his estate is in the German Literature Archive in Marbach .
