Joakim Ingelsson

Joakim Ingelsson (* 1963 ) is a former Swedish orienteer .

In 1988 Ingelsson won the silver medal at the Nordic Championships on the long distance behind the Swede Jörgen Mårtensson . In the season he won the gold medal with Niklas Löwegren , Michael Wehlin and Mårtensson. He won further medals with the relay at Nordic Championships in 1986 and 1990 (silver) and 1992 (bronze). His greatest success was probably winning the overall World Cup in 1992.

In 1988 (long distance), 1991 (middle distance) and 1993 (night orienteering) Ingelsson was Swedish individual champion. In 1984, 1988 and 1991 he won the championship with the relay of Ockelbo OK .

In 2009 it was announced that Ingelsson would become a member of the Swedish national team's coaching staff.
