Joakim Larsson (born January 7, 1984 in Herrestad , Vadstena municipality , Sweden ) is a Swedish handball player . He is 1.96 m tall.

Joakim Larsson started in on the other side of Vättern located Skövde with the handball game. From HP Skövde 90 he came to IFK Skövde HK via HK Country , for which he also made his debut in the Swedish elite series. There he won the EHF Challenge Cup in 2004 . In 2005 and 2007 he was in the final of the Swedish championship, but lost to IK Sävehof and Hammarby IF . In the summer of 2008, Kreisläufer moved to TV Großwallstadt in the German handball league . After Großwallstadt was relegated from the Bundesliga at the end of the 2012/13 season, Larsson's contract, which was only valid for the first division, was not extended. He then signed a one-year contract with an option to extend it with VfL Gummersbach . From 2015 to 2017 Larsson played for GWD Minden . He then joined the Swedish association IK Sävehof. With Sävehof he won the Swedish championship in 2019. Then he ended his career. Larsen will make his comeback for IFK Skövde HK on October 18, 2019. In summer 2020 he signed a contract with the Norwegian club KRS Topphåndball.
