Joan Enric Vives i Sicília
Joan Enric Vives i Sicília (born July 24, 1949 in Barcelona ) is Bishop of Urgell ( Spain ) and at the same time one of the two co- princes of Andorra .
Life
Joan Enric Vives i Sicília, ordained on September 24, 1974 , was appointed Auxiliary Bishop in Barcelona and Titular Bishop of Nona on June 9, 1993 . On September 5, 1993 he was Ricardo María Carles Gordo Cardinal consecrated a bishop, co-consecrators were the Cardinals Narciso Jubany Arnau , and Antonio Maria Javierre Orta . His motto is Parare vias Domini (Prepare the ways of the Lord) . On May 12, 2003, he was appointed to succeed the previous Bishop of Urgell, Joan Martí Alanís .
On March 19, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI awarded him the title of archbishop ad personam .
