Joan Ángel Román Ollé (born May 18, 1993 in Reus ) is a Spanish football player who is under contract with FC Barcelona . He currently plays for AEL Limassol .

Club career

Román joined the UE Barri Santes Creus in his hometown in 2005 . After a year in the club's youth department, he left the club and moved to the youth department of Espanyol Barcelona , where he played for three years.

In 2009 he joined the youth department of Manchester City and went through the youth department there until 2012. For the UEFA Europa League game against Sporting Lisbon on March 15, 2012 was appointed to the squad of Manchester City. He was not used in the 3-2 win.

On June 27, 2012, Román signed a three-year contract with FC Barcelona. He was signed by FC Barcelona for the second team, FC Barcelona B. In the 1-0 win against CD Guadalajara on September 8, 2012, he was allowed to play his first game for Barcelona B. He scored his first goal against Sporting Gijón , where he made it 3-0.

Before he was loaned out to Villarreal from the Primera División on January 31, 2014 , Román played 16 games in the 2013/14 season and was part of the team that achieved the best placement of the second team from FC Barcelona in the Segunda División reached.

The loan to FC Villarreal ended at the end of the 2013/14 season and his debut for FC Villarreal and his debut in the Primera Division he was allowed to give on February 8, 2014 in the 2: 4 defeat against Real Madrid. During the loan, he was allowed to play the games against Atletico Madrid and UD Levante. In the game against his loan club, Román was not even in the squad of Villarreal CF.

After his loan, he returned to FC Barcelona and played more games for FC Barcelona B in the 2014/15 season.

For the 2015/16 season Román moved to Sporting Braga .
