Joanna Leszczyńska (born December 18, 1988 in Warsaw ) is a Polish rower .

Joanna Leszczyńska started rowing in 2002. At the U23 World Championships in 2007, she finished 5th with eighth , in 2008 she won the silver medal. Also in 2008 she finished fifth at the European Championships with the Polish eighth . In 2009 came third place at the U23 world championships, seventh place at the world championships and fifth place at the European championships . In the next two years, Leszczyńska rowed eighth in Poland, but only achieved an A-final at international championships with sixth place at the European Championships in 2011 .

In 2012, the 1.83 m tall rower switched from oar rowing to scull rowing . With the Polish quadruple , she qualified for the Olympic regatta in Eton , where the boat took eighth and last place in the line-up of Kamila Soćko , Joanna Leszczyńska, Sylwia Lewandowska and Natalia Madaj . In the same line-up, the Polish double-four won the silver medal at the European Championships at the end of the 2012 season, behind the Ukrainians, who competed with three Olympic champions. In the following year, the Polish double scull with Maria Springwald , Joanna Leszczyńska, Sylwia Lewandowska and Agnieszka Kobus took fifth place at the 2013 European Championships . At the World Championships in 2013 Lewandowska and Leszczyńska rowed together with Magdalena Fularczyk-Kozłowska and Natalia Madaj and won the bronze medal. At the 2014 World Championships , the four-man with Lewandowska, Leszczyńska, Springwald and Kobus took eighth place. In 2015, the Polish double scull with Kobus, Leszczyńska, Springwald and Monika Ciaciuch won bronze at the European Championships in front of a home crowd in Poznan. With fourth place at the 2015 World Championships, the Polish double scull qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics. The Polish double scull started the Olympic season with the same line-up as last year with a victory at the Rowing World Cup in Varese. At the European Championships in 2016 , the Polish women won the silver medal behind the German boat. At the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the Polish double scull won the bronze medal.
