Jochen Neuhaus (translator)

Jochen Neuhaus (* 1936 in Munich ; † 1995 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German actor , director and translator .

Life

Jochen Neuhaus worked as an actor on various German theaters from 1959 to 1965 . From 1968 he worked as a theater director . From 1976 to 1980 he was artistic director at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , and from 1980 to 1984 he held the same position at the theater in Arnhem , the Netherlands . From 1985 he translated numerous theater plays from Dutch into German .
