Joe Mullins

Joe Mullins (actually Joseph C. Mullins; born October 18, 1937 in Glace Bay , Nova Scotia ) is a retired Canadian middle-distance runner and sprinter .

In 1958 he came in fourth place at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff with the Canadian 4-by-440-yard relay and failed over 880 yards in the run.

At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 he was eliminated over 800 m and 1500 m in the first round and reached the semi-finals with the Canadian team in the 4-by-400-meter relay .

In 1958 he became the Canadian 880 yard champion.
