Joseph Tetarenko (* 3. March 1978 in Prince Albert , Saskatchewan ) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player , who during his playing career from 1998 to 2007. among other 73 games for the Florida Panthers , Ottawa Senators and Carolina Hurricanes in the National Hockey League on the Has contested the position of the right winger .

Career

Tetarenko played during his junior years between 1994 and 1998 for the Portland Winter Hawks in the Western Hockey League . The trained defender , who was selected in the fourth round in the fourth round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers from the National Hockey League , led the team as team captain in his senior year to win the President's Cup and Memorial Cup .

For the 1998/99 season Tetarenko moved to the professional field, where he was retrained to the right winger in the Florida Panthers farm teams over the next two years . During the 2000/01 season he made his NHL debut. Overall, the Canadian stayed with the team until March 2003, when he was given to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Simon Lajeunesse . Since these did not extend his contract at the end of the season, he joined the Carolina Hurricanes in the summer of 2003 as a free agent . From 2004 to 2007 he played for the Houston Eros in the American Hockey League , the farm team of the Minnesota Wild , where he signed a contract in 2004. After the 2006/07 season he ended his career.
