Johan Lange

Johan Peter Jens Lange (born June 22, 1886 in Qeqertarsuaq , † after 1916 ') was a Greenlandic trade administrator and councilor .

Johan Lange was the son of the Udsteds administrator Christian Jørgen Grønberg Lange (1864-1920) and his wife Mette Marie Andrea Beate Broberg (1864-1934). He came from a family where many were involved in trading . That is why Johan was also active as Udsteds administrator in many places. Born in Qeqertarsuaq, he later lived in Aasiaat , then in Saqqaq and finally in Uummannaq . During his time in Saqqaq he was a member of the North Greenland State Council from 1911 to 1916 , but was represented at the last meeting by Adam Hendriksen .
