Abia Stork

Andreas Rasmus Abia Kristopher Stork (born February 1, 1869 in Manermiut , † June 9, 1934 in Ilulissat ) was a Greenland state councilor .

Abia Stork was the son of Johannes Jens Jonas Stork (1836-1888) and his wife Elisabeth Rosine Cæcilie Apolonie Karlsen (1843-1891). On September 18, 1892 he married Stine Else Fly (1864-1922), daughter of Thomas Michael Fly and his wife Rebekka Ane Margrethe. There were five children from this marriage:

  • Jonas Peter Boje Jens Stork (1893-1894)
  • Jens Paul Sigvard Stork (1895-1911)
  • Abelone Margrethe Jakobin Kirstine Stork married. Jørgensen (1898–?)
  • Sofie Agathe Abigael Nikoline Stork (1903)
  • Sofie Magdaline Abigael Dorthea Stork married Jørgensen (1905–?)

Abia Stork was a hunter by profession and was a member of the North Greenland State Council from 1911 to 1917 in the first legislative period . He later lived in Avannarliit before dying in Ilulissat Hospital in 1934 at the age of 65.
