Johan Henningsen

Johan Emil Hans Henningsen (born July 9, 1876 in Uummannaq ; † 1952 ) was a Greenland state councilor .

The son of the catechist Johan Peter Henningsen (1852–?) And his wife Wilhelmine Elisabeth Møller (1845–?) Was elected as a hunter in the first North Greenland State Council in 1911 , where he participated in all six meetings until 1916. On January 18, 1903, he married Juliane Marie Gjertrud Fleischer (1880–1959) in Uummannaq. Her daughter was Elisabeth (1907–1993), the first and only Greenlandic Regional Councilor, wife of Regional Councilor Kristian Johansen (1915-1958) and mother of Regional Councilor Severin Johansen (1941-2005) and Prime Minister Lars Emil Johansen (* 1946).
