Johann Asmus von Esebeck

Johann Asmus Freiherr von Esebeck (born August 25, 1711 in Groß Salza ; † July 12, 1770 at the Ingweilerhof ) was Minister of State and Cabinet of the Palatinate-Zweibrücken . He is the tribe of the baronial lines of the Esebeck family .

Life

Esebeck was a son of the Anhalt head stable master Philipp Jordan von Esebeck, who died in 1746 . He came to the court of the Prince of Palatinate-Zweibrücken when he was young, where he became a real secret councilor and budget minister and in 1740 he was promoted to the rank of baron. In 1737 he was a councilor and chamberlain, in 1756 a privy councilor, and when he died in 1770 he was also first state and cabinet minister. In 1760, Count Palatine Christian IV gave him Ingweilerhof and Ausbacherhof near Reipoltskirchen as inheritance. Ten years later the baron died on the Ingweilerhof and is buried there in the court chapel. The baronial family coat of arms can still be seen today above the entrance portal.

He was married to Johanna Friederike Freiin von Göllnitz († 1771) from 1737. The marriage resulted in nine children, including the Palatinate-Zweibrücken Minister of State Johann Friedrich Ludwig Jordan von Esebeck .
