Johann Baptist Eduard Graf , from 1849 Knight von Graf (* May 6, 1798 in Munich ; † April 15, 1882 ibid), was a German administrative lawyer, politician, member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .

Life

Graf was a son of the Medical Council and Chief Medical Officer Johann Baptist Graf. After graduating from high school (1814) at the (today's) Wilhelmsgymnasium Munich, studied law in Landshut until 1820 and was there, like his brother Carl Ritter von Graf (personal physician to the king's widow Caroline), a member of the Corps Bavaria . In 1821 he became a trainee lawyer, in 1823 a councilor at the government of the Isarkkreis (Chamber of Finances), in 1826 a functioning fiscal officer at the State School Redemption Commission in Munich, 1827 Legal Counsel of the University of Munich , 1829 Assessor and Fiscal Council, 1837 Government and Fiscal Council, 1841 Councilor at the State Debt Repayment Commission and 1848 Ministerialrat in the Bavarian Ministry of Finance and Crown Prosecutor of the State Debt Repayment Commission. In 1871 he retired.

From May 18, 1848 to May 7, 1849, Graf was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly ( Casino , Pariser Hof ). He voted against the election of Friedrich Wilhelm IV as German Emperor.
