Johann Christian Feige (the elder; born February 4, 1689 in Zeitz ; † February 11, 1751 in Dresden ) was a German sculptor and carver.

Feige came to Dresden around 1718 and initially worked in the sculptor's workshop with Balthasar Permoser to decorate the Dresden Zwinger . After his marriage in 1719 he worked as a freelance sculptor in Dresden. On October 30, 1728 he was granted civil rights in the city. Around 1748 he was appointed court sculptor, one of his students was Johann Joachim Kändler .

Feige created the altar of the Frauenkirche in Dresden as well as the later redesigned altar of the Resurrection Church in Plauen near Dresden. Numerous funerary monuments also come from Feige, including the one for George Bähr , the builder of the Frauenkirche.
