Johann Christian von Hellbach

Johann Christian Hellbach , von Hellbach from 1819 , (* July 15, 1757 in Arnstadt ; † October 18, 1828 ibid) was a German lawyer, historian and author.

Life

He was the son of Ludwig Gottfried Hellbach . Hellbach attended high school in Arnstadt under the direction of the historian Johann Gottlieb Lindner (1726–1811), whose “Johann Gottlieb Lindners…. short autobiography “ Hellbach published in 1812. From 1777 to 1780 he studied law and then lived initially in Arnstadt in house no. 204 (later Zimmerstrasse 12), which was also called "Engelsburg". From 1788 he lived on his manor near Berga and worked in Wechmar near Gotha as the ducal Saxony-Coburg-Meiningischer commission secretary. Finally returned to his hometown Arnstadt, he advanced to the prince of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen government advocate and councilor .

Hellbach married on May 17, 1789 on his manor at Berga Charlotte Friedericka Wilhelmina Ernestina von Berga (born September 16, 1762 in Berga).

On December 3, 1819, Prince Günther Friedrich Carl I. confirmed and renewed his family's old nobility for the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen.
