Johann Christoph Reinmann

Johann Christoph Reinmann (born February 10, 1723 in Saalfeld ; † 1761 ) was a German doctor, physicist at Rudolstadt and a member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina ".

Reinmann was born in Saalfeld an der Saale. He studied medicine in Halle and received his doctorate in 1746 from the University of Jena . He became a physician to Rudolstadt and the entire princely province . In 1754 he was admitted to the "Leopoldina" academy of scholars. He was given the nickname RUFUS III. ( Matriculation No. 590 )
