Johann Conrad Deuerlein
Johann Conrad Deuerlein (occasionally also Deuerlin , born June 6, 1761 in Diepersdorf , † on the night of March 24 to 25, 1838 in Lübeck ) was the last Lübeck council cellar master .
Life
Johann Conrad Deuerlein, son of the farmer couple Johannes (1716–1779) and Kunigunde Deuerlein (1720–1784), learned the craft of the cooper and wine buyer as an apprentice in Leinburg from 1783 to 1785 . From 1785 to 1790 he was a cooperative in Nuremberg , then until 1797 in Frankfurt am Main . By recommendation he came to the Ratskeller in Lübeck in 1797 .
After the death of the previous incumbent, Deuerlein was appointed council cellar master in 1803; In 1811 he leased the Ratskeller. He died unmarried in 1838 in his apartment in the now no longer existing Schüsselbuden No. 26. After him, the council did not appoint a new council cellar master, the office was revoked.
