Johann Conrad Ziesenis
Johann Conrad Ziesenis (born August 26, 1671 in Hanover ; † January 13, 1727 there ) was a German sculptor . He was at the beginning of a family of artisans and artists from the 17th and 18th centuries, whose works are attributed to the Hanoverian Rococo .
Life
Ziesenis was the son of the Hanoverian kit maker and writing schoolmaster Dietrich Ziesenis (* around 1648, † 1698), related to the Hanoverian sculptor Johann Friedrich Blasius Ziesenis , the painter Johann Georg Ziesenis the Younger and the painter Maria Elisabeth Ziesenis .
In 1710 Johann Conrad Ziesenis took the city of Hanover's oath . In 1715 he received - together with the carpenter Arndt Siemerding - remuneration for work as a sculptor on household appliances in Herrenhausen Palace .
