Johann Evangelius Gimpl
Johann Evangelius Gimpl (born March 8, 1824 in Taufkirchen (Vils) , † September 5, 1899 in Tittmoning ) was a Catholic pastor . From 1883 to 1899 he was a member of the center of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies .
Life
Following primary school, Gimpl attended grammar schools in Freising and Landshut between 1834 and 1842 . After graduating from high school, he began studying theology in Munich in 1842 , which he completed in 1848 at the Freising Lyceum . Until 1864 he worked initially as an assistant priest and later as a pastor in Rottenburg an der Laaber . From 1870 he worked as dean and pastor in Berchtesgaden and from 1879 as monastery dean and city pastor in Tittmoning .
From 1883 to 1899 Gimpl represented the constituency of Mühldorf in the Bavarian state parliament .
