Johann Friedrich Ahlers

Johann Friedrich Ahlers also: Friedrich Johann Ahlers ; * around 1756 in Hanover ; † 1815 or later) was a German master builder who worked in Bremen and Verden an der Aller .

Life

Born in Hanover around 1756 during the personal union between Great Britain and Hanover at the time of the Electorate of Hanover , Ahlers is said to have studied at the university there in his native city and in Göttingen .

In 1788 Ahlers was appointed " Landbaukonducteur " in the district of the then agricultural master Christian Georg Vick "in the department of Bremen and Verden " .

In 1815, Ahlers was first appointed agricultural manager before he was awarded the title of master agricultural engineer when he retired.

Ahlers published several articles in the journals Cellesche Landes-Annalen and in the Hannöverisches Magazin .
