Christian Georg Vick
Christian Georg Vick (also: Christian Vicken * September 29, 1668 in Stralsund ; † October 8, 1739 in Wienhausen ) was an art master, official and land construction clerk, author, and official and land master builder.
family
Christian Georg was the brother of Sudfeld Vick . He was also the father of 1739 appointed master builder Sudfeld Andreas Vick (* probably 1708 , † October 1, 1772 ) and the grandfather of his son, the 1795 appointed master builder Georg Andreas Vick (1747-1830).
Career
Christian Georg Vick can be identified for the first time in Hanover in 1682 , then again from 1690. From 1706–26, Vick was the master craftsman of Hanover's old town and was responsible for water technology systems. From 1718, however, he was also often active outside of Hanover. In the same year he was first official and land building clerk, from 1720 to 1739 then official and land builder.
In 1736, at the instigation of Friedrich Karl von Hardenberg , Vick wrote his memoirs ... (see literature) on the state building industry in Hanover, which went back to the year 1660.
Christian Georg Vick was buried in the Wienhausen parish church.
