Appreciation

Erwin H. Ackerknecht considers Zückert to be a theoretician of the psychogenic causation of mental illness. In his work On Passions in 1768, Zückert stated that passions are destructive. The new, sensitive generation already has too loose texture fibers in the womb. So she is effeminate. Against this, religion, philosophy and dietetics would act as protective measures. This announces the later positions of the psychicists .
