Johann Georg Hörtich

Johann Georg Hörtich , also Herterich (born March 29, 1705 in Leutenhof / Dirlewang , † 1770 ) was a German organ builder .

Hörtich learned organ building from Munich's Joseph Gloner and started his own business in Dirlewang in 1734.

He was one of the leading masters of his time in Swabia and Upper Bavaria.

In 1760 he made a foundation that led to quarrels in the village. That's why he moved to Mindelheim in 1764 .
