Johann Gottfried Hahn , from 1748 Hahn (born January 18, 1694 in Schweidnitz ; † May 1, 1753 ibid), doctor of philosophy and medicine , was a doctor in Breslau , royal Prussian court advisor and landowner on Leonhardwitz in the Neumarkt district (Lower Silesia).

Life

Hahn was the son of the doctor Siegmund Hahn in Schweidnitz from his first marriage to Katharina Sophia Grass . On May 1, 1731 by Hahn with the academic nickname Dexius I. a member ( Matriculation no. 424 ) of the Leopoldina selected. After some successful practice in Breslau, Hahn received the title of a secret medical councilor and in 1745 was appointed dean of the medical and medical college in Breslau by Frederick the Great . In recognition of his services, he was raised to the nobility on September 13, 1748 by the king . He was the older half-brother of the even better known doctor Johann Siegmund Hahn .

Hahn married Justina Eleonora Zehmisch , daughter of Gottfried Zehmisch , on September 10, 1720 in Breslau at the age of 26 ; the following children are known from their marriage:
