Johann Gottlieb Töllner

Johann Gottlieb Töllner (born December 9, 1724 in Charlottenburg ; † January 26, 1774 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) was a German Protestant theologian .

Töllner began to study at the University of Halle in 1741 , where he was a student of Siegmund Jakob Baumgarten and received his doctorate in theology in 1748.

In 1756 he became an associate professor of theology at the University of Frankfurt an der Oder and in 1760 a full professor of philosophy there.
