Johann Hartmann von Rosenbach (* December 15, 1609 - April 19, 1675 ) was Prince-Bishop of the Würzburg Monastery from 1673 until his death in 1675 .

Johann Hartmann von Rosenbach was the eldest son of the Kurmainzer Oberamtmann of the Oberamt Königstein , Johann Dietrich von Rosenbach (1581–1656) and his first wife Susanna Regina von Knöringen. The von Rosenbach family is a middle German noble family. This family has its origins within the Breuberg domain . In the Hochstift Würzburg there are numerous namesake in the cathedral chapter and in administrative positions, at the beginning of the 17th century also in the Order of St. John. The family died out in 1806.

Johann Hartmann von Rosenbach became canon in Würzburg. At the time of Johann Hartmann von Rosenbach's election as prince-bishop, Clemens X was pope and Leopold I was emperor. Johann Hartmann was only in office for a few years. During his tenure, the French invaded the diocese in the Dutch War under Henri de La Tour d'Auvergne, vicomte de Turenne , but were repulsed by Raimondo Montecuccoli .

The coat of arms is divided into silver and black, with a black lion growing at the top, tongued red, crowned in gold. The first field contains the Franconian rake for the Duchy of Franconia and the fourth field a racing flag in red and silver for the Diocese of Würzburg .
