Johann Heinrich Friedrich Müller
Johann Heinrich Friedrich Müller (born February 20, 1738 in Aderstedt , † August 8, 1815 in Vienna ) was a German actor , writer and comedy poet .
Life
Müller is said to have been called Schröder or Schroeter at first. After the early death of his father, he attended the Latin school of the Francke Foundations in Halle (Saale) from 1749 . When he accidentally started a fire there, he fled the facility. Puppeteers from Lauchstädt had a lasting effect on Müller. He played the play they gave on a self-made theater stage which exploded when gunpowder was ignited and caught fire.
Müller fled to his brother, a pastor in Halle's area. This sent him to the cathedral school in Magdeburg . There he was trained as an actor by Franziskus Schuch and took the family name Müller. In Potsdam he made his first public appearance in the garrison church , which was followed by many more.
From 1763 Müller worked in Vienna and lived there with his family in the Bürgerspitalzinshaus .
In 1767/68 Johann Heinrich Friedrich Müller wrote the numbers 11–13 of the Singspiel libretto Bastien and Bastienne , which was set to music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart .
