Johann Hoeniger
Johann Hoeniger (born April 24, 1850 in Zülz , Upper Silesia, † January 26, 1913 in Berlin ) was a German architect .
Hoeniger completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer in Ratibor and studied at the Höxter building trade school and at the Berlin building academy . After traveling through France and Italy (1877) he became a private master builder in Berlin. In 1881 he became the community builder for the Jewish community. Soon afterwards he founded a company together with Gustav Reyscher. From 1887 to 1913 he had a joint company with Jakob Sedelmeier (1861–1929).

- 1894–1895: Design of the facade of the apartment building Schöneberger Ufer 59 in Berlin (floor plans and construction by Joseph Fraenkel )
- 1900–1901: Building of the Jewish workers' colony in Weißensee
- 1903: Design of the Zehlendorf Higher Girls' School - today: Droste-Hülshoff-Schule (grammar school) - in Schönower Strasse 7 & 8 in Berlin
- 1903–1904: Synagogue " Temple of Peace" with religious school and school barrack in Berlin, Rykestrasse 53 (construction by Joseph Fraenkel)
- around 1903: Synagogue for the Israelite synagogue community Adass Jisroel in Berlin , Artilleriestraße 31
- 1906/07: College for the science of Judaism (see: Leo-Baeck-Haus )
- 1910/11: Design of the office building at Wallstrasse 15 & 15A / Neue Grünstraße 24 in Berlin-Mitte
- 1912/13: Design of the residential building at Stubenrauchstrasse 1 in Berlin-Zehlendorf
- 1912/14: Synagogue Levetzowstraße 7/8, Berlin-Moabit (consecrated in 1914, devastated in 1938, destroyed in the aerial warfare, finally demolished in 1955)
