Johann Jakob Nüesch
Johann Jakob Nüesch (born November 1, 1845 in Balgach ; † May 19, 1895 in St. Gallen ) was a Swiss genre and landscape painter .
Nüesch was born the son of a carpenter. He studied from May 4, 1868 in the class of antiquities at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich . After graduating, he worked as a freelance art teacher in St. Gallen.
A collection of his works can be found in the Balgach local museum.
