Johann Joseph Kunzmann

Johann Joseph Kunzmann (* July 7, 1773 in Sauersack ; † October 25, 1826 there ) was a Bohemian kk privileged top trader , manufacturer , wholesaler and entrepreneur .

biography

Kunzmann was born as the youngest child of the lace merchant Christian Kunzmann (1734–1791) and his wife Christliba, b. Renn (1736–1806), the daughter of master miller Anton Renn (1695–1770), was born at number 24 in Sauersack.

In 1794 he married Ludmilla Gottschald , the sister of the lace dealer Franz Anton Gottschald (1763–1813), who ran his own lace business in Hirschenstand. Kunzmann took over the company in 1812. The partner was his brother-in-law, master miller Anton Karl Korb from Breitenbach . The wholesaler and owner of the blue ink factory Felix Kerl from Platten acted as a partner . With great activity they managed the company founded in 1780 (according to other information already in 1750) under the name kk priv. Spitzenfabrik Anton Gottschald & Comp. away.

In 1820 the company already had 8,561 homeworkers from the neighboring towns of St. Joachimsthal , Graslitz , Neudek , Sauersack etc. The kk privileged lace factory became the most important company for the production of lace. The products were sold to Vienna, Graz, Pest and other places of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy beyond the borders of Saxony .

Kunzmann died in Sauersack house number 24 at the age of 53 of dropsy of the chest and was buried in the cemetery of Frühbuss . After his death, the powers as a partner passed to his widow Ludmilla Kunzmann and after her death to the youngest son Joseph Kunzmann . His grandson was the top manufacturer, district chairman, mayor and honorary citizen of Neudek Karl Kunzmann (1842–1918).

Kunzmann married the top trader's daughter Ludmilla Susanna Gottschald on July 9, 1794 in Hirschenstand (* February 1774 in Hirschenstand; † December 12, 1843 in Sauersack). The following children were born from this marriage:
