Johann Ruhl

Johann Ruhl (called Jean Ruhl ; born June 19, 1877 in Götzenhain ; † December 29, 1957 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German politician in Hessen-Nassau ( Reich Party of German Middle Classes , Economic Association ) and a member of the Reichstag in the Weimar Republic .

education and profession

Jean Ruhl studied architecture and owned a construction business in Frankfurt. Later he also operated a large petrol station. Jean Ruhl was a Roman Catholic and married to his wife Elisabeth, née Ruhl (born July 9, 1878).

politics

Johann Ruhl was a member of the city council of Frankfurt am Main from 1928 to 1930 and was there deputy chairman of the German Business Party . In 1926 he was elected to the Nassau Municipal Parliament for the Biedenkopf district (for the "Hessen-Nassau City and State Working Group"). In 1929 he was re-elected (this time for the Frankfurt district and the economic association). In the municipal parliament he was a member of the building and finance committees. He was also a deputy member of the state committee.

On October 29, 1930 he moved on for Dr. Werner Rhode in the Reichstag and took up the mandate for the economic association until the end of the 1932 election period.

Other offices

Jean Ruhl was a board member of the house owners association and first chairman of the garage and gas station owners in Frankfurt am Main.
